Octillion Energy Holdings, Inc. is a leading multi-national energy storage company that specializes in designing and manufacturing battery systems for major industries focused on electrified product lines. With a strong manufacturing and sales presence in the United States, China, and India, we primarily manufacture battery systems for electric vehicles (EVs), but also broadly for e-mobility, energy storage solutions (ESS), and underserved markets, like marine and off-highway. Additionally, we design and manufacture custom battery management systems (BMS) for clients.

By July 2024, Octillion battery systems have powered over 1.5 million EVs in China. We work with EV OEMs to provide custom battery systems that meet safety, cost, and time-to-market standards, enabled with our large-scale manufacturing efficiencies and years of operating experience.

We seek to be the one-stop source for OEMs looking for exceptional battery systems. We do this by providing maximum value to both downstream and upstream players in the industries by offering a wide range of battery cells and customization options, from fully-to-semi tailored.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower clients with cutting-edge battery solutions for the electric mobility, machinery, and energy storage industries—to deliver breakthrough products that drive the transition to a zero-emission lifestyle; revolutionizing the way we live, move, and work.

Global-Leading EV Battery System Supplier

We are a pioneer and leader in the development of competitive EV battery systems offering clients customized and consistently superior quality battery systems. In China alone, as of 2023, we were ranked as the fourth largest EV battery system provider for passenger battery electric vehicles, or passenger BEVs, by shipment unit with a market share of 5.1%, according to the F&S Report. By December 31, 2023, our battery systems had powered over 1.4 million EVs in China, including approximately 30% of A0/A00 size passenger BEVs in China in 2023, according to the F&S Report.

Superior Engineering, Design and Development Capabilities

Engineering, design, and development is fundamental to our mission. Equipped with an innovative mindset, we have developed extensive proprietary technologies for EV battery systems with both cylindrical and prismatic battery cells, at market-leading safety and cost standards. As of the Latest Practicable Date, we possessed more than 1,000 active and considered patents, five domain names and 17 software copyrights. Our patents cover multiple key battery system technologies, including liquid-cooling systems, battery thermal runaway detecting systems, thermal management modules, battery safety monitoring systems, and overcharging prevention techniques.

Strong Partnerships within the EV Value Chain Landscape

Since 2009, we have forged strong partnerships with major EV OEMs and battery cell manufacturers worldwide. Our proven track record of delivering differentiated and customized EV battery systems has strengthened our partnerships with customers and enhanced customer reliance. During the Track Record Period*, we had 69 value chain partners, consisting of 47 EV OEM customers, 17 battery cell manufacturer suppliers (one of which was also our battery cell manufacturer customer) and six battery cell manufacturer customers. Out of these 22 battery cell manufacturers, eight were ranked among the top 10 PRC battery players by shipment volume in 2023 according to the F&S Report. These extensive partnerships place us in a unique position within the EV value chain that is hard to replicate and serves as a significant entry barrier to potential competitors.

In 2023, we had a 5.1% share of the passenger BEV market by shipment unit in China, according to the F&S Report. We believe we will continue to capture a significant portion of the large and fast-growing EV market.
