Octillion products are sustainable by default. Our mission is centered around the goal of creating large-scale sustainable energy solutions that offer measurable improvements over existing fossil fuel offerings. Driving sustainable innovation forward is at the crux of everything we do. Our ultimate goal is for our cumulative efforts to have a positive impact on our planet.


End-of-life Recycling

We source our cells for our battery systems carefully with the inevitable end-of-life moment in mind. This means sourcing cells from reliable battery cell providers that also prioritize end-of-life recycling, so that our clients can have viable recycling options when the last charge does occur. It also means sourcing the materials that go into our packs from reputable suppliers. We strive to work with clients who prioritize end-of-life recycling, and that often means having established relationships with both credible battery and material recyclers.


Sustainable Supply Chain

We are constantly looking to optimize our supply chain to ensure that our materials are sourced from sustainable providers. We also do our best efforts to source from local suppliers to encourage a robust regional supply chain that can mitigate the negative environmental effects of long-distance transportation. Furthermore, we actively look to advance co-located factory models for our largest clients, to ensure that our manufacturing facilities are located as close to possible as final product assembly. Our cell supply network is amongst the deepest in the battery system industry, and as such, we require that they provide a Conflict Mineral Policy Statement. Furthermore, we continue to adopt policies that ensure that our suppliers are fully compliant to ISO and IATF standards.


Social

Octillion has achieved its global success, having powered over 1.5 million EVs in China as of April 30, 2024, largely because of our people. We could not have achieved this meaningful number without their dedication, innovation, and creativity. Our employees are humble and hard-working by nature, a characteristic of the Octillion worker, but if we can speak for them, they are exceptionally talented, creative, and mentally agile—always working to provide innovative solutions so that our clients’ electrified products are safe, trusted, and create product leadership in their respective industries.
