(“Octillion India”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Octillion Power Systems, Inc. of Richmond, California, is proud to announce the funding of several community development projects in Maharashtra, in partnership with local NGOs. These initiatives support communities in the districts of Beed and Palghar and reflect Octillion’s long-term commitment to social responsibility alongside industrial growth.

Expanding Access to Critical Healthcare in Beed

Octillion India has donated a fully equipped Mahindra all-terrain ambulance to Bhavani Vidyarthi Kalyan Pratishthan Children’s Orphanage and its affiliated clinic, Sulabha Suresh Joshi Shishu Gruha, in Beed District. The ambulance will serve the orphanage and surrounding communities including Arvi, Shirur Kasar, and Beed.

This specialized vehicle will enable faster response times, modern mobile medical care for pediatric patients, and reduced strain on local healthcare facilities. The donation also includes continued funding to ensure the ambulance remains equipped with up-to-date medical technology and adheres to the highest safety standards.

In addition to the ambulance, Octillion has provided dormitory cots and mattresses for the girls’ hostel and supplied laboratory equipment for physics, chemistry, and biology classrooms—strengthening both living conditions and educational resources for the children.

Delivering Clean Water Access in Palghar

Octillion India also partnered with Pragati Prathishtan, a regional NGO, to install a tap water distribution system and water purification units in Thakurpada and Bondarpada villages in Taluka Jawhar, District Palghar.

These mountaintop villages had never previously had access to a running drinking water system. Today, thanks to this initiative, there is now one clean drinking water tap for approximately every five families—providing reliable access to safe, potable water and significantly improving daily living conditions.
