In less than eight months, Octillion transformed a greenfield site in Gujarat, India, into a fully operational battery manufacturing facility, further strengthening the country's electric vehicle supply chain while expanding the company's global production footprint.

The new facility marks Octillion's third manufacturing plant in India and represents a significant milestone in the company's continued commitment to supporting one of the world's fastest-growing electric mobility markets.

Expanding Capacity to Meet Growing Demand

Spanning more than 13,000 square meters, the new facility is designed to support the rapidly increasing demand for advanced battery systems across India's passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, and bus segments.

At full capacity, the plant will produce more than 48,000 battery systems annually, contributing over 4 GWh of energy storage capacity each year.

Combined with Octillion's two existing India facilities, annual production is expected to exceed 100,000 battery systems and approximately 8 GWh of battery capacity. Globally, Octillion's manufacturing network is capable of producing more than 25 GWh annually, supporting customers across multiple transportation and energy storage sectors.
